Georgetta Robinson Obituary

Georgetta Robinson was born March 17, 1941, in Clay County and departed this life Monday, June 24, 2024, at the Lee County Care & Rehab Center in Beattyville, at the age of 83. She was the daughter of the late Taylor & Martha (Dunn) McQueen.

Georgetta is survived by two children, Anthony Robinson (Sandy) of McKee and Jessica Mallery (Bob) of Independence. She is also survived by a daughter in law, Brenda Robinson of Norwood, OH and by four brothers, A.J. McQueen (Lenora) and Danny McQueen both of Norwood, OH, Oscar McQueen of Annville and Stevie McQueen of Foster. She was blessed with a host of grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Georgetta was also preceded in death by her husband, Burton Robinson; by a son, Jimmie Robinson; by a brother, Levi McQueen and by three sisters, Rosetta Edwards, Gail Davidson and an infant sister, Fannie Retha.

Georgetta was a member of the New Beginning Church in Clay County.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 29, 2024 at Lakes Funeral Home in McKee with Bro. Bobby Stevens and Bro. Ronnie Hurst officiating. Burial will follow in the Cress Cemetery in Clay County. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
