Randell Lee Williams Obituary

Randell Lee Williams was born October 23, 1941, in Jackson County and departed this life Thursday, July 4, 2024, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, at the age of 82. He was the son of the late Delmer & Myrtle (Pennington) Williams.

Randall is survived by his wife, Carolyn Williams and by three children, Melissa Brewer of McKee, Michael (Michelle) Williams of Green Back, TN and Pamela (John) Banks of Berea. He is also survived by a brother, Hershel (Joan) Williams of McKee and by a sister, Betty (Terry) Harrison of Berea. He was blessed with eleven grandchildren, Ryan Williams, Dalton Williams, Jarred Williams, Elisha Brewer, Patric Garrett, Harley Garrett, Tasha Downey, Logan Banks, Justin Banks, Kaylee Banks and Hillary Combs, who preceded him in death.

In addition to his parents, Delmer & Myrtle Williams and granddaughter Hillary Combs, Randell was also preceded in death by three siblings, Wilma Harrison, Roy Williams and Doyle Williams.

Randell owned and operated R. L. Williams Construction and was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam.

Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 8, 2024, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Williams officiating. Burial to follow in the Tal Martin Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ryan Williams, Jarred Williams, Dolton Williams, Logan Banks & Justin Banks & John Banks. Military services will be conducted by the local D.A.V. Jack Welch Chapter #165. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
