Wendy Jean Carpenter Obit

Wendy Jean Carpenter was born December 6, 1967, in Miami, Florida and departed this life June 28, 2024 in Campbellsville, KY, at the age of 56. She was the daughter of the late Ray Hacker and Joan Ellen (Steen) Hacker.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Edward Carpenter and by five children, Heather Carpenter (Joseph Whitehead), Ashley Marshall, Samantha Carpenter (John Wilson), Sabrina Carpenter (Austin Sprinkles) and Edward Capenter Jr (Samantha). Other survivors include her brother, Ray Hacker Jr. and by two sisters, Jo Ellen Gray (Bobby) and Dianne McQueen (Jeffery). She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, Austin McQueen, Brayden Anerson, Collin Anderson, Dalton Anderson, Sage Whitehead, Brooklyn Marshall, Isabella Marshall, Braxton Camerson, Carson Wilson, Larkyn Wilson, Nevaeh Carpenter and Jordyn Carpenter.

Wendy was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Wendy will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 13, 2024 with Bro. Tim Johnson officiating. Burial to follow in the Carpenter Cemetery. Pallbearers: Todd Chadwell, John Wilson, Katie Wagner, Edward Carpenter Jr., Austin Sprinkles, Jerry Carpenter, Woody Collins and Jeffery McQueen.
