Nancy Pearl Hunter Obituary

Nancy Pearl Hunter was born April 26, 1962 in Clay County and departed this life Sunday, July 14, 2024 at the Rockcastle Regional Medical Center in Mt. Vernon, at the age of 62. She was the daughter of the late Bob Hunter, and Dora (Sams) Smith.

Nancy is survived by the following brothers and sisters, Bige (Lois) Hunter of Clay County, Robert Hunter of Clay County, Shonia (Nick) Berry of McKee and Brenda Hunter of Tyner. She was blessed with a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was also preceded in death in death by her step father, Clifford Smith and by two brothers, Bobby Gene Bowling and Richard Hunter.

Nancy was a special child of God. She was short on words but had such a big heart. She was an earthly angel for several years, now she’s a heavenly angel, healing in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Nancy was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services for Nancy Pearl Hunter will be 1:00 PM Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Freddie Berry officiating. Burial to follow in the Campbell Cemetery in Clay County. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
