Elmer Lee Davis was born December 11, 1952, and departed this life Friday, September 13, 2024, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, at the age of 71. He was the son of the late James Wesley & Edith (Muncy) Davis.
Elmer is survived by his loving wife, Jane (Garland) Davis of Annville, and by his sons, Jason (Shelley) Davis, of Annville, John (April) Davis of Annville and Justin (Lauren) Davis of Sand Gap, and by his beloved dog “George” who he loved as much as his sons. He was blessed with ten grandchildren, Eason (Brittany), Raimey (Ryan), Jalee, Blane, Kobe, Kyle, Olivia, Ryker, Jaxon and Ella; by two great grandchildren Raven & Roman. He is also survived by a brother, Ernie Davis.
In addition to his parents, Elmer was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Lovik.
Elmer was retired from the Bluegrass Army Depot and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was also a member of the Bond Holiness Pentecostal Church.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Lloyd, Bro. John Gabbard, and Bro. Rick Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery in Annville. Lakes Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
Military services will be conducted by the local Jack Welch Chapter #165.
Pallbearers: Jason, John, Justin, Eason, Blane & Kobe Davis. Honorary pallbearers: Henry Smith, Steve Gray, Lonnie Robbins, Jeff Scalf, Rick Combs, Kevin Mefford, and James Miller.
