Nellie Robinson Obituary

 Nellie Robinson was born December 31, 1939, in Laurel County and departed this life Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at her son’s residence in Corbin at the age of 84. She was the daughter of the late Cloyd & Molly (Miller) Smith.

 Nellie is survived by two children, Debbie Young (John) of Annville and Danny Robinson (Nora) of Corbin. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Stephanie Davidson (Ben), Melanie Rowland (Shawn), Sarah Spurlock (Bill) and Daniel Robinson and by eleven great grandchildren, Austin & Alyssa Davidson, Alexa Richardson, Alazae & Aniyah Brewer, Allison Spurlock, Liam & Rayna Robinson, Brayden, Kailey & Kegan Rowland.  

In addition to her parents, Nellie was also preceded in death by her husband, Dan Robinson and by her the following siblings, Luther Smith, Albert Smith, Fred Smith, James Smith, Lois Truett, Myrtle Brewer and Christine Williams.

 Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Lakes Funeral Home’s Bradshaw Chapel with Bro. Mike McQueen officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ben Davidson, Austin Davidson, Bill Spurlock, Shawn Rowland and Braydon Rowland. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
