Cross Drain Operations Begin Wednesday, November 6 on a Section of KY 1209 in Jackson County

MANCHESTER, Ky. (November 4, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a section of KY 1209 in Jackson County, starting at the Jackson/Lee County line (mile point 0.0) while extending to the Jackson/Estill County line (mile point 3.891), will be closed to through traffic beginning Wednesday, November 6 at 8 a.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect significant delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
