Jessie Ray Sparks Obituary

Jessie Ray Sparks SR was born April 16, 1957 in Lee County, Kentucky and passed away January 1, 2025 being 67 years old. He was the son of the late Dan and Sarilda (Burton) Sparks.

He is survived by his children, Jessie Ray Sparks JR. (Rebecca Black) of Gray, Shanta Renae (Heath) Small of Paris and Darla Sparks (Thomas Moon) of Owensville. His siblings, James (Brenda) Sparks of Lee Co., Charlie (Marie) Sparks of McKee, Danny (Sherry) Sparks of Richmond, Indiana and Mary Gabbard of Versailles. Jesse was blessed with nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In addition to his parents Jessie was proceeded in death by his brother Ben Henry Sparks and his sister Nancy Sue Bowling.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Lakes Funeral Home. A visitation will begin at 11 A.M. on Saturday. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com Lakes Funeral Home oversaw arrangements.
