Glenna Lucille Carpenter Obituary

Glenna Lucille Carpenter was born on May 15, 1924 to the late Delbert and Creasy (Moore) York in Jackson County, Kentucky and passed away January 2, 2025 in Annville, Kentucky she was 100 years old.

She is survived by her daughter Lucille (Carpenter) Anderson, her grandson Tim and his wife Melissa Anderson. Glenna was blessed with three great grandchildren, Jacob (Marisa) Anderson, Alexa Anderson (Blake) Hoover and Gabriella "Gabi" Anderson. As well as one great great grandchild, Ryleigh Evelyn Anderson. Glenna is also survived by one brother-in-law, Verda Carpenter.

In addition to her parents Glenna was proceeded in death by her husband, C.M “Mib” Carpenter. As well as the following siblings, Zenas York, Robert “Bob” York, Nannie Jane Carpenter and Nora Lee Parrett.

Glenna served as the Annville Baptist Church clerk for over 60 plus years.

Funeral services for Ms. Glenna will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday January 8, 2025 at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee with Bro. David Wilson and Bro. Roger Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Annville Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 11 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com Lakes Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
