Inez Sexton Boggs Obituary

Inez Sexton Boggs was born November 30, 1934, in Jackson County and departed this life Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Mayfair Manor Nursing and Rehab in Lexington, at the age of 90. She was the daughter of the late Hugh & Zella (Spurlock) Sexton.

Inez is survived by three children, Bruce (Angie) Boggs, Jr of Louisville, Sefanie Paige Laughlin and Lori Boggs both of Lexington.  She is also survived by a brother, Darrell (Allie) Sexton of Nicholasville and by two sisters, Wanda Lee Sexton and Carolyn Sue Byrd both of Lexington.

In addition to her parents, Inez was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice Fuller.

Inez graduated from Jackson County High School in 1952, and was a member of the Manuel Baptist Church in Lexington.

 Funeral services will be 12 Noon Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Lakes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Spurlock Cemetery at Tyner. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com.
