Nora Lee Parrett, 95, passed away at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY on January 6, 2025. She was born on August 17, 1929 in Annville, KY, to Delbert and Creacy York. She retired as postmaster of the Annville post office and then completed her working career at Midsouth Manufacturing where she made many lifelong friends. She was a devoted member of Annville Baptist Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Linda (Gary) Reece, Janet Engle, Yolanda (Arvin) Webb, Tanda Dannelly and Shonda Rose and a daughter in law, Jennifer Parrett. She is survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; she treasured each and everyone.

Nora Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley, son, Garry Parrett and grandson, Ragan Reece. Her parents, Delbert and Creacy York and her siblings; Zenas York, Glenna Carpenter, Jane Carpenter and Bob York.

A service to honor the life of Nora Lee Parrett will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 2 P.M. at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee with Bro. Roger Williams and Bro. Ronnie Ball officiating. Burial will follow at the Ingram Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 12 P.M. on Thursday at the Lakes Funeral Home. Pallbearers include; Ryan Reece, Quest Jones, Adam Hacker, Dustin Parrett, Devan Dannelly and Trey Rose.
