Dorothy (Harrison) Webb Obituary

Dorothy (Harrison) Webb was born December 12, 1936 in Jackson County and departed this Monday, February 3, 2025 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington at the age of 88. She was the daughter of the Leonard & Carlista (Slone) Harrison.

   Dorothy is survived by three children, Richard (Karen) Webb of London, Janet (David) Mays of McKee and James Michael Webb of Hebron. She is also survived by a brother Ike Harrison of Lexington, and by two sisters, Gladys Isaacs of McKee and Eda Faye Hale of Richmond.  She was blessed with seven grandchildren, David Kyle Mays, Natalie Mays, Andrea Stone, Jonathan Fryman, Erich Webb, Jacob Webb and Chase Webb and by four great grandchildren, Ezra Bowling, Adrian Mays, Ellie Mays and Emily Stone.

   In addition to her parents, Dorothy was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Webb Jr.; by a daughter, Donna Sue Webb Neal and by the following siblings, Boyd Harrison, Virgil Harrison, Albert “Runt” Harrison and Hester Sparks.

Funeral Services for Ms. Dorothy will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday February 8, 2025 at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee. Burial will follow at Birch Lick Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 6 P.M. on Friday February 7, 2025. Pallbearers include Erik Webb, Jacob Webb and Kyle Mays. Lakes Funeral Home oversaw arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
