Dead Body Found Floating in Flood Waters

UPDATE: 8:00 PM

The Clay County Coroner told reporters that 73-year-old Donald Keith Nicholson was trying to drive down the road when his car stalled. Nicholson got out of the vehicle but was swept away by the high water. 

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it took extra time to get to the body due to high water in the area.

The news has been reported that a Kentucky man has been pronounced dead after his body was seen floating in flooded waters. 

The Clay County Sheriff confirmed to reporters that they responded to the Horse Creek area of Manchester Saturday evening after hearing reports of the body.

The Sheriff’s Office says it took extra time to get to the body due to high water in the area. 

The Clay County Coroner has not released his name.
