Jackson Energy Warns Customers of Two Current Scams!!

Jackson Energy reported, 

"We have received several calls about a few scams. 

On one version, a few members stated they had dialed our 800-262-7480 toll free line and ended up reaching a scammer who claimed to be Jackson Energy and told them they had won a medical device.  We do not know how this happened and our IT / Telecom department has been notified, but we are not offering any medical devices.  

We also have received other calls that scammers have called them and told them they were getting a rebate or lowering their bill. Then they requested financial information, which we do not do over the telephone.  

If anyone requests your checking or credit/debit card information over the phone, it is NOT Jackson Energy.  Our calls are recorded and we do not ask for this information as we do not want this on a recorded call."
