Judy Carol Prater Obituary

Judy Carol Prater of Lexington, KY was born November 11, 1947 in Jackson County and departed this life Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, at the age of 77. She was the daughter of the late Willie & Mary (Isaacs) Harrison.

   Judy is survived by two children, Michael Harrison of Lexington and Mary Beth Prater (Allen Deppen) of Louisville. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Madison Harrison, Nick Prater and Zachary Brown.  She is also survived by two sisters, Rebecca Isaacs of Indiana and Alberta Howard of Berea.

   In addition to her parents, Judy was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Prater and by two brothers, Dallas Harrison and Ellis Harrison.

 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 28, 2025 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Gabbard officiating. Burial to follow in the Harrison Cemetery. Pallbearers: Mike Harrison, Nick Prater, Zachery Brown, Scotty Vest, Lee Young and Tim Young. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
