Five Hospitalized After Car Rear-Ends Horse Drawn Buggy (Free Access)

Five people were hospitalized after a crash in Breckinridge County on March 6. Kentucky 

State Police reported that at 3:15 p.m., a 2004 Ford Taurus rear-ended a horse-drawn buggy on South KY 259. 

The buggy's driver and three child passengers were airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital; two children were later released, while the driver and another child remain with life-threatening injuries. 

The Ford driver was treated at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive. KSP is investigating.
