Coach Bowling: 2025 JCHS Baseball Season Preview

by JCHS Head Coach Jacob Bowling

The 2025 JCHS Generals Baseball season is right on us. We've finally cleared (we think) winter and the season is here. The Generals start action with exhibition play this week. The team plays Berea at Home on Thursday, March 13th at 5:30. The squad will then turn around and head to Lincoln County to close out the exhibition section of the season.

The regular season will start on Monday, March 17th at home against Southwestern High School. The Generals will travel to Rockcastle County on Tuesday, March 18th. They will close out the week by returning home for games on Thursday the 20th against OBI, the 21st against Williamsburg, and will close out the first week of play with a double header against Casey County on Saturday the 22nd.

As we prepare for the start of the season, we will rely heavily on our pitching in the early portions. We are a very veteran team that will be led by our experienced varsity guys that have been through the grind of a 2 month season. We also have an incredibly talented Freshman class of students who will make a positive impact in our team.

My hope for our team is that we play hard and compete every single pitch of every single game this season, and have a blast doing it. We hope to see the bleachers full at our home games this season.

Go Generals!
