Aaron Isaacs is a current resident of Jackson County where his family roots run deep. Aaron spent most of his childhood in the county visiting with family, enjoying the great outdoors and just being a kid appreciating country life.
After working at Pike Electric and Berea Utilities, Issacs began his employment at Jackson Energy in 2018 as a 1st Class Line Technician in the co-op’s McKee District. Today, Aaron works in the metering/maintenance department where he is responsible for the maintenance and communication of the meters and related equipment. Even though one of the more challenging aspects of his job responsibilities is keeping up with the state-of-the-art technology Isaacs enjoys the diversity of his job, troubleshooting when challenges arise, and the building and construction side of the utility industry.
His favorite part of working for Jackson Energy is being able to work for our members and make a difference in their lives. Isaacs understands the commitment it takes to be a first responder and the sacrifice that he gives away from his family. When given the opportunity, he traveled with Jackson Energy crews to provide mutual aid assistance to cooperatives across the state and nation to assist in their restoration efforts due to catastrophic storms.
Aaron and his wife, Ashton, have been married for 18 years and have three children, Hayden,
Hayley and Holden. When Aaron is not working at Jackson Energy, he enjoys farming, hunting,
fishing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
A healthy Jackson County requires great community news.
