Jackson County Swift Water Rescue Team Performs Rescue on Indian Creek - Urges Public to Remain Off Roads and Stay Aware

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office reported,

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to remain off the roadways during this time of high water and hazardous conditions.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, City of McKee Police Department, Jackson County Emergency Management, and Jackson County EMS responded to a medical call for service this evening in the Indian Creek area and the Swift Water Rescue Team had to be utilized due to the hazardous weather conditions.
The patient was successfully removed from the residence by the Swift Water Rescue Team, and provided care by Jackson County EMS.
We urge the public to remain cautious, and know that the Sheriff’s Office is operating at full capacity. Our response times will be hindered due to weather conditions.
