Earnest Isaacs Obituary

Earnest Isaacs age 85 of Sand Gap, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at his residence. He was born on April 20, 1939, in Jackson County, Kentucky to the late Odis and Lucy (Cain) Isaacs.

 He is survived by his loving wife Freda, as well as the following children, Mark (Patty) Isaacs of Dayton, OH, Kevin (Alishia) Isaacs of McKee, Ella Clark of West Virginia, Lovella (Matt) Mackie of Dayton, OH, Starla Nix of Richmond, IN, and Jennifer (Jacob) Lee of Sand Gap, KY. He is also survived by two brothers, Johnny Isaacs of Michigan and Sam (Debra) Isaacs of Alabama. Earnest was blessed with 28 grandchildren and a host of great and great great grandchildren, and Jordan Cole who he raised as a grandson

 In addition to his parents Earnest is proceeded in death by two sons, Glenn Barrett and Mike Isaacs, and the following siblings, Herman Isaacs, Ronnie J. Isaacs, Sandy and Violet.

 Funeral Services for Earnest will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee with Bro. Mark Isaacs and Bro. Matt Mackie officiating. Burial will follow at the Isaacs-Abner Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 11 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Pallbearers include Earnest Mullins, Kyle Mullins, Isaiah Mullins, Doug Barrett, Marcus Barrett, Jordan Cole, James Davis and Brenden Isaacs. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com Lakes Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
