Sylvia Allen Sizemore Montgomery Obituary

Sylvia Allen Sizemore Montgomery, age 86 of McKee, KY passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London. She was born in Burning Springs, KY to Elbert Allen and Elsie (Davidson) Allen on March 13, 1939. 

 Sylvia married Oscar Sizemore on July 19, 1954 and had seven children, George “Boot”, Judy Kay, Glenn Tommy, Ann, Glenna, Jeff and Penny Renee.

On May 9, 2008, Sylvia married J. D. Montgomery.

Sylvia is survived by her four children, George (Della) Sizemore, Ann (James) Spurlock, Glenna (Ronnie) Robinson, and Jeff (Kaye) Sizemore; nine grandchildren, Cathy, George, Eddie, Chris, Justin, Kyle, Jason, Angel, Abby and eight great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Jake, Isaac, Avery Jean, Mason, Hannah, Karley, Chase Oscar. Along with her siblings, Alex, Jones, Colston, Foster (A.J.), Jesse, Mitchell, Pauline and Mary and by a host of numerous nieces and nephews.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents; Elbert & Elsie Allen, by her husband, Oscar Sizemore; her children, Judy Kaye, Glenn Tommy, Penny Renee; by her second husband, J.D. Montgomery and by her siblings, Red, Gibb, Blanche, Vivian and Johnny.

Sylvia enjoyed being with her family and friends and serving the Lord.

 Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Wilson and Bro. Gary Beard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
