Death Investigation Launched After Deceased Individual Discovered

Laurel County Sheriff John Root reported that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Taylor McDaniel is conducting a death investigation regarding the discovery of a deceased individual found off Forestry Road off Hal Rogers Parkway approximately 6 miles west of London on Thursday afternoon April 24, 2025 approximately 3 PM.

The individual had been a reported missing individual out of Somerset , last seen April 21st, 2025 investigated by Somerset city police department and is identified as Robert Caddell age 34, pronounced deceased at the scene.

No foul play is suspected.

The Laurel County Coroner’s Office assisted on this investigation.
