Father Charged with Alleged Child Abuse After 4-week old Found with Multiple Broken Bones

A father in North Carolina is accused of breaking multiple bones of his 4-week-old son, according to authorities. 

Greenville Police charged 22-year-old Kobie Parker with two counts of intentional child abuse with serious bodily injury.

On March 3, the infant suffered 10 broken ribs, a broken tibia and fibula in the right leg and a broken tibia in the left leg.

The 22-year-old man was arrested Friday and is in jail on a $1-million bond.

Officers say they were alerted to the crime in early April after the infant showed up at a medical provider with bruising. 

Further tests showed the boy had numerous broken bones, according to police.

His bond was set at $1 million.
