Carolyn (Brummett) Nantz Obituary

Carolyn (Brummett) Nantz was born August 19, 1950, in Jackson County and departed this life on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, at the age of 74. She was the daughter of the late John Brummett Jr and Vernice (Burns) Brummett.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Marvin D. Nantz; by two daughters, Donna (Tom) Daniels of Brookville, OH and Regina Faye (Chad) Wooley of Farmersville, OH and by two step sons, Glenn (Teresa) Nantz of London and Rodney (Debbie) Nantz of Hazard.  Other survivors include three sisters, Della Wall, Debbie Shepherd and Judy Eversole all of Annville and by a brother, Johnny (Katherine) Brummett of Annville.  She was blessed with six grandchildren, Jade Wooley, Tanner Daniels, Riley Daniels, Blake Nantz, Hunter Nantz and Jonathan Nantz and by one great grandchild, Jaylin Azbill.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was also preceded in death by a brother, Van Brummett.

 Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Bowling officiating. Burial to follow in the Swindling Gap Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
