Betty Fern Gabbard Obituary

 Betty Fern Gabbard was born March 13, 1944 in Indiana and departed this life Sunday, May 4, 2025 at her residence at the age of 81. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Brewer and Opal Irene (Trent) Litton.

Betty is survived by four children, Phillip (Tina) Gabbard of Sand Gap, Kevin Gabbard, Amy (Cecil) Gray and Renee (William) Bullens all of McKee. She is also survived by a brother, Danny Litton of Indiana and by a sister, Helen Clark of Lexington. Betty was blessed with six grandchildren, Andrew, Lucas, Jenny Fern, Wade, Ethan, and Aleigha and by two great grandchildren, Immanuel & Raelyn.

In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Amos Gabbard; by a brother, Ralph Brewer and by a sister, Norma Harman.

 Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Derik Abrams and Bro. Marshall Abrams officiating. Burial to follow in the Gabbard Cemetery at Waneta. Pallbearers: Tim Miles, Andrew Abrams, Lucas Abrams, Cecil Gray, William Bullens, Lynn Goforth, Wendell Gabbard, Kendall Gabbard and Mitchel Baker.
