Joann Vaughn Obituary

Joann Vaughn was born on November 25, 1937, in Jackson County, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday May 3, 2025, at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London, she was 87 years old. She is the daughter of the late Luther and Ettie B. (Harrison) Gabbard.

She is survived by her daughter Rita Rose, her grandchildren Kasey (Matt) Eversole and Ashley (Daniel) Cole. Joann was blessed with 3 great grandchildren, Bree and Madi Eversole and Jace Cole.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jurl Vaughn and daughter Tammy Tyree. As well as sister Gladys Carr. and her son in law, Hershel Rose.

Funeral Services for Joann will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, with Bro. Brian Gabbard and Bro. Greg Browning officiating. Burial will follow in the Vaughn-Parrett Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 12 Noon on Saturday at the Lakes Funeral Home Chapel.
