Ricky Newman Obituary

Ricky Newman of Beattyville was born in Lee County, Kentucky on Feb 9, 1961, and departed this life on May 4, 2025, in Estill County. He is the son of the late G.R. and Thelma (Farmer) Newman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deb (Isaacs) Newman, one brother Gary Newman of Beattyville, one sister Debbie (David) Bingham of McKee, one nephew Scottie (Tammy) Bingham of McKee. Two brothers-in-laws Dennis and Jerry Issacs of McKee, one sister-in-law Teresa Richardson (Scott Gettman) of McKee and one very best friend and neighbor Steve Todd.

Ricky was a member of the Cress Mount Baptist Church and long time Sunday School teacher.

Funeral Services for Ricky will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday May 7, 2025, at the Lakes Funeral Home Bradshaw Chapel with Bro. Earl McCullogh presiding. Burial will follow in the Isaacs Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Wayne Richardson, Joe Young, David Caudill, Perry Caldwell, Benny Todd, Danny Todd and Scotty Gettman. Honorary Pallbearer Steve Todd. 

A visitation will begin at 11 A.M. on Wednesday at the Lakes Funeral Home Bradshaw Chapel.
