Traffic Impact Alert!

*TRAFFIC IMPACT*

Units with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office are currently on scene in the area of Highway 578 North and Highway 290 regarding a stuck semi in the roadway. 

The north and southbound lanes of Highway 290 are blocked, as well Highway 578 North being completely blocked at the intersection.

We are working to get the roadway open as quickly as possibly, but expect a long delay. 

Seek an alternate route. 

We will update the public as the roadways become passable.
