JCHS Lady Generals Advance to Champioship Game in 13th Regional Tournament!!!

Jackson County advances to its first ever 13th Region Fastpitch Tournament title game with a 5-2 win over Harlan during semifinal action on Wednesday.

Senior Candice Williams turned in another stellar pitching effort in the pitcher’s circle, striking out 14 batters while allowing only two hits and two earned runs in the win.

The Lady Generals built a 3-0 lead after two innings of play and never looked back in the win.

Kylie Moore led the way with three hits, one RBI and one run scored while Baylee Berry finished with two hits and two runs scored. Aubrey McCowan added a hit and two RBI while Blakelynn Fee and Scarlett Peel both finished with a hit.
