Over 100 firearms, thousands of pills found after undercover investigation in Laurel County

Kentucky State Police arrested a Laurel County man after an undercover drug investigation.
Chester Glenn Couch, 68, of Bonnyman, was arrested on June 5.
The sheriff’s office says the investigation resulted in a drug search warrant being executed at Couch’s address off Typo Road in Bonnyman.

The sheriff’s office says the investigation resulted in a drug search warrant being executed at Couch’s address off Typo Road in Bonnyman.
They say investigators found around 2,247 prescription pills, about 120 firearms, suspected methamphetamine, and a large amount of money.

- two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – opiates
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – third-degree – first offense
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
Couch was lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail in Perry County.
Laurel County Sheriff John Root stated that drug investigations and arrests will continue in Laurel County.
