Single Vehicle Accident Near Tyner Claims Life of JCHS Alumna

McKee, KY - The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, was contacted just before 6:40 p.m., Sunday, July 12, 2025, in reference to a single-vehicle collision near the intersection of Nantz Road in the Tyner community of Jackson County. 

The initial investigation indicates a 2012 Nissan Murano, operated by Lori Grimes, 33, of London, Kentucky, was traveling north on KY 3630. The vehicle exited the left side of the roadway, struck a utility pole, and overturned. 

As a result of the collision, Lori Grimes, 33, of London, Kentucky, was fatally injured and pronounced deceased by Jackson County Coroner Conley Tyra. 

Trooper Jacob Coffey is conducting the ongoing collision investigation.
