Deamie Lilllian Long Obituary

Deamie Lillian Long was born December 27, 1935 in Jackson County and departed this life Thursday, July 24, 2025 at the Laurel Heights Nursing Home in London, at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late Elwood & Martha Ellen (Lainhart) Hisel.

Deamie is survived by her husband, Wallace H. Long of McKee; by her daughter, Sandra Baker and step daughter Valerie Long of Ohio. Deamie was blessed with two grandchildren, Garrie R. Baker Jr (Aurora) and Robyn Wallum. She is also survived by the following siblings, Leola Kirby of McKee, Aileen Power and Ella Mae Bowen of Berea. As well as special friend April Hobbs.

In addition to her parents Deamie was preceded in death by her son in law Garrie Baker, her siblings Clark Hisel, Roy Hisel, Glendon Hisel, Millie Rose and three infant siblings Lloyd, Turner and Ruby Hisel. Also, her nieces Pam and Londa and nephews Vincent and Marvin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 1 P.M. at the Hisel Cemetery with Bro. Mitchell Davidson officiating.
