Woman Arrested for Assaulting Man in Laurel County

It has been reported that Ciara Hoskins, 19, of Corbin, was arrested on August 3 off American Greeting Card Road, 10 miles south of London. 

The report states that Deputies from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a physical altercation between a woman and a man. 

Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the woman had initiated the fight and that the man had visible injuries. 

His injuries included scratches on his torso, a bloody nose, and patches of hair missing from his scalp.

Hoskins was charged with assault (fourth degree), resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct (second degree). 

She was taken to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
