Margaret Virgina (Lynch) Harris

Margaret Virginia (Lynch) Harris was born May 7, 1944, in Owsley County, Kentucky and departed this life Thursday November 16, 2023, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 79 years of age.

She was the daughter of the late Herman and Martha (Maggard) Lynch.

Margaret married the love of her life, Julian Harris on December 31, 1968, and to this union was born three children, Lisa (Steve) Cunagin, Brian (Britney) Harris and Brent (Beth) Harris. Other survivors in include her grandchildren, Derek Cunagin, Chelsea Danielle Metcalf, Tanner (Alli) Harris, Caden Harris, Connor Harris and Ryan Sprigs, by three great grandchildren, Charlie Metcalf, Jordyn Meugga Metcalf and Bubba Metcalf.

Other than her parents Margaret was also preceded death by an infant son Julian Edward Harris and the following siblings: Lee Lynch, Howard Lynch, Carlos (Peanut) Lynch, William Hershel Lynch, Lyndon Lynch, Gladys Bates, Alma Davidson and by Ronnie Brown and Shirley who was same as a Bro. and Sister.

Margaret was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church.

Funeral service for Margaret Harris will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday November 19,2023 at New Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Harris and Bro. Shane Ayers officiating with burial in Ray Lynch Cemetery. Pallbearers: Derek Cunagin, Tanner Harris, Conner Harris, Caden Harris, Brad Bridges, & Brandson Bridges. Honorary pallbearers: Dustin Lynch, Doug Lynch, Phillip Wayne Akemon, Jason Akemon, Chris Lynch, Robert Neeley, Bubba Metcalf, & Ryan Spriggs.
