Darryl Douglas Miles Obituary

Darryl Douglas Miles was born June 11, 1952, in Madison County and departed this life Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, at the age of 71. He was the son of the late Charles & Juanita (Rose) Miles.

Darryl is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Randy (Messer) Miles. He is also survived by his two daughters, Kelly Jean Miles and Amanda Sue Ann Miles and by Jessica Messer who was like a daughter to him. Darryl was blessed with a granddaughter, Raylee Marie Ann Johnson, he always called her “My one and only bestest friend in the whole wide world.” Other survivors include, a brother, Ralph Miles of Versailles and by two sisters, Judy Ann Marcum and her husband Donald and Margie Sue Berry of Berea. He is also survived by several nieces nephews.

In addition to his parents, Darryl was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Miles, Charles Miles Jr., and an infant brother, Gary Miles.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Gabbard and Bro. Coy Bullock officiating. Burial to follow in the Rose & Miles Cemetery. Pallbearers: Kevin Harris, James Isaacs, Kelly Miles, James Marcum, Kevin Berry, Robert “Chop” Davis, Jim Pierson, Keith Hobbs and Justin Bryant.
