Millie Rose Obituary

Millie Rose was born August 14, 1934, in Jackson County and departed this life on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Berea at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late Elwood & Martha (Lainhart) Hisel.

Millie is survived by two children, Bruce Rose of McKee and Debra (Paul) Wheat of Berea. She is also survived by four sisters, Deamie Long of London, Leola Kerby of McKee, Alene Power and Ella Mae Bowen both of Berea. She was blessed with three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Millie was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Rose; a son, Donnie Rose; and by three brothers, Clark Hisel, Roy Hisel and Glyndon Hisel.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Hisel Cemetery with Bro. Wallace Connor officiating. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
