Wilma Fields Obituary

Wilma Fields was born June 9, 1948, in Parkersburg, West Virginia and departed this life Monday, January 22, 2024, at her residence in Beattyville, at the age of 75. She was the daughter of the late Granville & Carrie Lee (Richardson) Price.

Wilma is survived by her husband, Odell Fields of Odell Fields of Beattyville and by the following children, Kevie Fields, Glendon Fields (Sissy Callahan), Nathan (Misty) Fields and Laverna (Jesse) Stacy all of Beattyville, Craig (Michelle Shafer) Fields of McKee, Delredia Brandenburg of Louisville, Evelyn (Wade) Libal of Rice, TX and Ada (Robert) Richeson of Joshua, TX. She is also survived by a brother, Herman (Carlene) Price of Waco and by a sister, Jane Wiseman of Irvine. Wilma was blessed with nine grandchildren, Jonathan Barjas, Jessica Marie Fields, Jared Thomas Moore, Caitlin Fields, Hunter Fields, Macee Richeson, Logan Fields, Tanner Libal and Fynnlee Libal and by a very special home health nurse, Miranda Akers.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Fields, by two brothers, Larry Price and Carlton Price and by a very special friend, Deloris Neeley.

Wilma was a member of the St. Helens Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 29, 2024 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. L.C. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Fields Cemetery. Pallbearers: Craig, Glendon, Nathan, Hunter & Logan Fields. Honorary pallbearers: Kevie Fields, Robert Richeson & Jesse Stacy.
