Rosa Ann Rose Obituary

Rosa Ann Rose was born October 19, 1945, in Bowling Green, KY and departed this life Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at her residence in Gray Hawk at the age of 77. She was the daughter of the late Garland Lawing and Willie B. (Nixon) Lawing.

Rosa is survived by one sister, Judy Lynn Lawing of Gray Hawk; one sister-in-law, Nita Lawing of Sahuarita, Arizona; one step- son, Paul (Loretta) Rose; one niece Brenda (Ken) Williams; two grandchildren, Ben & Natalie Rose and one special nephew, Rodney Dale Lawing. Rosa was blessed with three special caretakers, Faye Judd, Brenda Sparks and Brenda Adkins.

In addition to her parents, Rosa was also preceded in death by two husbands, Robert Hunter (1979) and Virgil Rose (2018); one brother, Billy Joe Lawing; and one sister, Betty Jane Grimes.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 18, 2023, at the Sandlin Cemetery in Gray Hawk with Bro. Jason Elam, Bro. Greg Rose and Bro. Carroll de Forest officiating. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
