Jason Cornett Represents JCHS Youth Center as "Page for a Day" in Frankfort
Superintendent Mike Smith reported that high school senior Jason Cornett traveled to Frankfort to participate in the Page Day at the Capital. This program is sponsored through the FRYSC Coalition and each FRYSC county across Kentucky. Schools could send one student per county to be a Page for A Day. The JCHS Youth Services Center seeks out students to complete the application and a brief interview to apply for the Page Program. Jason was chosen to enjoy a full day at the State Capital learning about State government, supporting the FRYSC program and touring the Capitol. Jason is a senior. He will be graduating in the spring and plans on attending EKU to major in Political Science. After graduation from EKU he will be pursuing a law degree. We are very proud of Jason Cornett for representing Jackson Co High School and the Youth Services Center.
