The Lady Generals were able to tie the score when Berry, with two outs, stole home on a throw from the catcher to the pitcher, which forced the game into extra innings. In the top of the ninth, Berry and Fee led off the inning with inside the park home runs, which gave them a 7-5 lead. The team would manage two more runs in the inning. Due to their "never give up" mindset, the Lady Generals held on to win 9-6. Candice Williams had another strong pitching performance by striking out twenty of the twenty-seven batters she faced. Fee and Berry led the offense with three hits each.
