Dolphus Young Obituary

Dolphus Young, age 74, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Truett) Young of 44 years and by his daughter, Jessica (Kyle) Thorpe. He is also survived by his brother, Dale (Sharon) Young, sister Barbara Lainhart, by a niece Jeania (Wes) Conn and by two nephews, Jason Young and Justin Bryant-Lainhart.

Dolphus was preceded in death by his father, Kenton Young and his mother, Ora Jean Harrison Young and by a nephew, Josh Lainhart.

Funeral services for Dolphus Young will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Lakes Funeral Home in McKee with Bro. Tim Tankersley officiating. Burial will follow in the Truett Family Cemetery in Gray Hawk.
