A.T. Pennington was born September 12, 1954, in Clay County and departed this life on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, at the age of 71. He was the son of the late Ray & Betty (McQueen) Pennington.
A.T. is survived by his wife, Janie Pennington and by four children, Jason Shawn (Jennifer Ann) Pennington, Brandon Shadd (Nora Rebecca) Pennington, Stephanie (Mark) Couch and Jessica Miracle of Barbourville all of Annville. He was blessed with fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, A.T. was also preceded in death by four siblings, Danny Pennington, William Pennington, Jean Collett and Brenda Adkins.
A.T. was a member of the Blooming Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Smith officiating. Burial to follow in the Twin Oaks Cemetery.
