Alpha Margaret Creech 89 of McKee passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at the Saint Jospeh Hospital in Lexington. She was born February 11, 1937 to the late Jesse and Bertie (Marcum) Gray.
She is survived by her children, Virgil (Dina) Creech, Louis (Pauline) Creech and Genevieve L. Adkins. Her grandchildren, Jeffery Wayne Adkins, Ira Richard Adkins, Bryan Creech, Dustin Creech, Meranda McQueen, Tiffany Bryant and Brooklyn Smith. She was blessed with twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by the following siblings Fred Gray of Ohio, Lavonne (John) Nef of McKee, Delores Rose of McKee, Nadine Lynch of Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ellis Creech. Her siblings Raleigh Gray, Hershel Gray, Johnny Gray, Clyde Gray, Ralph Gray, David Gray, Leona Gray, Roena Oliver, Elvie Springfield and Deamie Gray.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday July 28, 2026 with Bro. Carroll deforest and Bro. Mike McKinney presiding. Burial will follow in the Sandlin Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeff Adkins, Ira Adkinks, Andy McQueen, Ben McQueen, Bryan Creech and Dustin Creech. Honorary Pallbearers Brylan Creech, Ayden Creech and Jace Adkins.
A visitation will be held on Monday July 27th at the Lakes Funeral Home Chapel in McKee beginning at 6 P.M.
