Bourbon Sisters Society Raises $1,000 for Friends of Jackson County Public Library

Posted

The Bourbon Sisters Society, a women’s organization bringing together members from across the Commonwealth of Kentucky, recently demonstrated the power of friendship and generosity by raising $1,000 for the Friends of Jackson County Public Library.

The fundraising effort was made possible through the dedication of four society members: Founder Linda Isaacs of Barley Mule LLC, Co-Founder Nancy Johnson of 1st Trust Bank, retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Dianne Smith, and Lisa Hickerson, Managing Partner of S & J Solutions. These women joined together with a shared commitment to giving back and supporting organizations that make a positive difference in their communities.

The Bourbon Sisters Society is a growing organization of women from across Kentucky who share a passion for friendship, fellowship, and community involvement. The society provides a welcoming and supportive environment where women can develop lasting friendships, exchange experiences, and engage in meaningful, open conversations built on trust and mutual respect.

“Our society is about more than gathering together. It is about building friendships, supporting one another, and finding ways to make a positive difference in the lives of others,” said Founder Linda Isaacs.

While the society’s membership extends throughout the Commonwealth, this particular fundraising initiative focused on supporting the Friends of Jackson County Public Library and its efforts to enrich the local community.

The society believes that meaningful change often begins with individuals coming together for a common purpose. Through friendship, generosity, and service, its members hope to inspire others to become involved in causes that strengthen Kentucky communities.

For the Bourbon Sisters Society, true sisterhood extends beyond friendship. It is about lifting one another up, giving back, and making a difference together.
