Daniel Boone Transit Offers Free Transportation to Local Food Pantries for SNAP recipents

The Daniel Boone Community Action Agency posted the following message to their social Media page:

Attention Clay, Jackson, Lee Owsley, and Wolfe County Residents

If you are a SNAP recipient and have not received your benefits due to the federal government shutdown, Daniel Boone Transit is here to help.

We are offering FREE transportation to local food pantries for individuals and families affected by the delay in SNAP benefits, until the shutdown ends and benefits have been restored.
