David Lee Jones, age 56 of McKee, Kentucky departed this life on September 5, 2026. He was born in Dayton, Ohio to Ovie and Doris Jones on June 8, 1970.
David was a lineman which he enjoyed and he loved traveling with his job. He loved the outdoors especially the S-Tree Tower area. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
David is survived by his wife Sherry Jones, his children Natasha and husband Daniel Pirkle, D.J. and wife Hope, Marissa and husband James Nunn, Nathan and wife Courtney. His grandchildren, Elijah Pirkle, Tobias Pirkle, Ivy Nunn and Oliver Jones. He is also survived by two step-daughters, Tiffany Berry and Tori (Austin) Baldwin, five step-grandchildren; by an uncle Earl Jones and his siblings Tim Willis and Maggie Jones Farra as well as many other family and friends.
David is preceded in death by his parents Ovie (Junior) and Doris Jones, his grandfather Other Jones and a special cousin Darlene Lear.
Graveside services will be held 1:00PM Thursday, September 10, 2026 at the Huff Cemetery with Bro. Brian Gabbard officiating. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
