Dewey Powell was born on June 8, 1948 in Jackson County, Kentucky and passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington being 76 years old. He is the son of the late Boyd and Ocie (Hurley) Powell.
Dewey is survived by his sisters; Betty Dailey and Bonnie Dailey both of McKee, Allene Kim of California
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by the following siblings; Burlin Powell, Yvonne Elliston, Gladys Dixon, Ethel Hisel and Nannie Campbell.
Funeral Services for Mr. Dewey Powell will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 1P.M. with Bro. Brian Gabbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Durham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 A.M at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee. Lakes Funeral Home were entrusted with arrangements.
