Jackie Sandlin Truett was born September 7, 1956, in Clay County and departed this life Friday, January 9. 2026, at her residence, at the age of 69. She was the daughter of the late Henry Ford & Mirian (Keith) Sandlin.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Larry Lane Truett and by two daughters, Ashley (Brian) Gabbard and Taressa (Josh) Collins. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Darrick, Hannah & Tyson Gabbard and Bentlee, Easton, & Maggie Collins all of McKee, and a host of nieces and nephews. Other survivors include her three brothers, Wesley (Helen) Sandlin, of McKee, Bill (Tina) Sandlin of Foggertown and Mike (Teresa) Sandlin of McKee.
In addition to her parents, Jackie was also preceded in by two brothers, Doug Sandlin and Irvin Sandlin.
Graveside services were held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Parker & Baker Cemetery at Peoples with Bro. Brian Gabbard and Bro. Boyce Smith officiating. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
