The Jackson County Kiwanis Club will host the 36th Annual Doug Rader Memorial Golf Scramble on July 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Battlefield Golf Club.
As we prepare for this year's event, we want to recognize and thank our local businesses, sponsors, and players who have contributed to the success of this fundraiser throughout the years. Our club could not make this event possible without your generous support and participation.
All proceeds from the golf scramble go directly to the Jackson County Little League Baseball Program to help maintain the ballpark and cover expenses associated with providing opportunities for our youth. Not one dollar of the proceeds benefits the Kiwanis Club or its volunteer members.
The golf scramble began in 1990 under the leadership of Doug Rader, who served as Chairman of the event. Following Doug's passing in 1994, the club renamed the tournament the Doug Rader Memorial Golf Scramble in his honor. This year, we are proud to celebrate 36 years of this successful community tradition.
The continued dedication of our members, sponsors, and players has made a lasting impact on the youth of Jackson County. Each year, approximately 250 to 300 children have the opportunity to participate in Little League Baseball at no cost to their families.
Thirty-six years of supporting more than 250 children annually is truly something to celebrate.
The Jackson County Kiwanis Club sincerely thanks everyone who has played a role in making this event such a tremendous success. Your generosity, commitment, and community spirit have helped create opportunities for generations of young athletes.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Jackson County Kiwanis Club
Rodney Chrisman, President
