Jackson County, in partnership with the KY Division of Waste Management is sponsoring a Waste Tire Collection Event. The event will take place on June 11, 12, & 13, 2026 (Thursday, Friday, & Saturday) at 6962 Gray Hawk, KY.
Tire will be accepted on or off the rims (Truck, Light Truck, Passenger, Implement, Lawn Tractor, Bicycle, Motorcycle, & Golf Cart, Etc.
Several types of tires will not be accepted including Foam Filled Tires, Calcium Filled Tires, Off Road Construction Tires (OTR), Rubber Tires, and Solid Tires with/without press on rims.
Tire Retailers, scrap/Salvage Yards and Recycle businesses are expressly prohibited from participating.
Please take advantage of this opportunity to properly dispose of unwanted tires. Any Kentucky resident is eligible to participate in this program with the exception of those entities listed above.
